RYA Courses

Waypoint Amsterdam Sailing School has been recognised by the Royal Yachting Association.
This means that all candidates are guaranteed to receive high quality sailtraining by one of our dedicated RYA instructors. With a candidate to instructors ratio of 4 :1 we will build
your confidence and skills to a high standard.
Our instructors are highly motivated, have a good sense of humour and are very patient.
We will never forget that you are here for the enjoyment of sailing and to escape the world of stress.

Has the knowledge and ability to skipper a yacht on coastal cruises but not necessarily the experience needed to undertake longer passages. Has the same theoretical knowledge as a Yachtmaster Offshore to enable him or her to perform as smoothly or consistently 
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Prep + MCA/RYA exam*

5 passages over 60 miles including 2 overnight
and 2 as skipper

A Yachtmaster is competent to skipper a cruising yacht on any passage during which the yacht is no more than 150 miles from a harbour.
